Program overview
Nag Tibba Trek from Dehradun
Nag Tibba Trek is one of the accessible Himalayan treks from Dehradun, making it a good choice for a short mountain escape without requiring several days away from the city. The journey begins with a drive through Mussoorie and Kempty Falls before reaching Pantwari village, where the trail begins.
From Pantwari, the trek gradually climbs through the landscape towards the campsite around Nag Mandir / Kathian. The first evening is deliberately slower, giving you time to settle into camp, enjoy the surroundings and prepare for the early summit push the following morning.
The second day begins well before sunrise. The trail leads through dense forest towards Nag Tibba Top, where, if conditions are clear, the early morning light opens up views towards snow-covered Himalayan peaks including Bandarpoonch and Swargarohini. After spending time at the summit, the route returns to the campsite and then descends to Pantwari before the drive back to Dehradun.

THE JOURNEY
How the Trek Unfolds
The Nag Tibba Trek begins with an early drive from Dehradun and finishes back in the city on the second evening. The trail itself is relatively short, but the early summit start makes the second day a full mountain experience.
Some journeys don’t need many days. They just need enough time to take you somewhere that feels far away.
