Adventure Trips

Our adventurous trips are for those who want to step beyond the familiar, embrace a little uncertainty and experience the outdoors through exploration, challenge and discovery.

About the SERVICe

Some Places Are Better Reached Slowly.

There are places where getting there is as much a part of the experience as being there.

A road climbs through a high mountain pass, follows a river for hours, disappears into a remote valley, and eventually brings you to a place that feels very far from where you started. Along the way, there are villages to stop at, landscapes to take in, local food to try, and unexpected moments that could never have been part of a fixed itinerary.

Our adventure trips are built around these journeys.

Many of them take us into the Himalaya, but the idea is not limited to one region. A trip might be a long road journey through Spiti, a journey towards Adi Kailash, an exploration of a remote mountain region, or somewhere entirely different. What connects them is the desire to go beyond conventional sightseeing and spend enough time in a place to experience it properly.

WHY HEART IN HIMALAYA

We Plan the Journey, Not Just the Stops.

A journey to a remote place rarely goes exactly as it looks on a map. Roads change, weather shifts, distances take longer than expected, and sometimes the best parts of a trip are the things that were never planned.

That is why we think about the journey as a whole. The route, the pace, where we stop, how long we stay, what we experience along the way, and how the conditions of the place may affect the journey all matter.

Our experience in the outdoors and mountains helps us approach these trips with respect for the terrain, the communities we travel through, and the people travelling with us.

  • Routes chosen for the journey they offer, not simply the destinations they connect.
  • Experienced outdoor leadership and practical planning for remote and changing environments.
  • Enough time to explore, meet people, experience local places, and let the journey unfold naturally.

Some places stay with you because of what you saw. Others because of everything it took to get there.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything You Might Like to Know

If you have additional questions, we’d be happy to discuss them with you personally.

Our trips focus particularly on interesting and less conventional destinations, with a strong connection to the Himalaya. These can include high-altitude regions, remote valleys, mountain roads, cultural landscapes, and places that are not usually experienced through conventional tourism.

The Himalaya is central to many of our journeys, but the service is not limited to one region. We are interested in places where the journey and the destination both offer something worth experiencing.

Some are, while others are better suited to experienced travellers because of altitude, road conditions, travel duration, or remoteness. Each trip will clearly explain its requirements so you can choose appropriately.

Yes. Private trips can be arranged for individuals, families, friends, or small groups around your preferred dates and interests.

It depends on the trip. Some involve straightforward travel with shorter walks, while others may include high altitude, remote terrain, or longer travel days. We will explain the requirements of each journey beforehand.

The difference is largely in the pace and the approach. We are interested in the journey as much as the destination, leaving room for local experiences, exploration, walks, conversations, and the unexpected moments that make a place memorable.

Inclusions vary by journey. Accommodation, meals, transportation, permits, activities, support, and other arrangements will be clearly outlined for each individual trip.
